Teacher Fiona Snow Creates Decorations and a Light for the National Museum of Ireland

DFEi teacher of Computer Aided Draughting, Fiona Snow, was commissioned to make a light for the 21st Century Room at Collins Barracks one year ago.  This was the beginning of a fantastic process that saw her original paper star sculpture evolve into a large pendant light.

As though being asked to supply a piece for display in the Museum wasn't exciting enough, she was then asked to design this year's Christmas decoration for the 21st Century room's tree.

The light and decorations will all be on display in the museum from December 3rd.  The decorations will be available to purchase from Fiona's site:  www.snow.ie

The photo of Fiona's creations  have been kindly supplied by the National Museum of Ireland and is reproduced here with thanks.
