The Arts, Culture and History (AC5) learners visited Cabinteely House recently. They were given a history of the house and an outline of the people who owned and lived in the house, which was built by Robert Nugent in the mid-eighteenth century.
The guided tour of the house gave an insight into the lavish lifestyle, the grand furnishings and décor of a bygone age. The learners enjoyed it immensely. There was no doubt it was well worth the visit, admission was free and there is a very nice café in the stable yard!!
