National Skills Competition Final 2015

 

Ireland Skills:  National Skills Competition Final 2015 (Carpentry)

 

David Morgan recently won the National Skills Competition in Carpentry in Ireland for.  He won the final of the competition, which was held in Cork Institute of Technology on his second attempt, having been placed third in 2013. David is employed by P & L Carpentry LTD, Kildalkey, Co. Meath.  David attended trained for the competition over the past two years in DFEi.

David was presented with the John Sisk & Son sponsored, annual trophy by David Tracey who is the companies Training Centre Manager. The trophy is hand carved by a SISK apprentice each year. John Sisk & Son have sponsored the competition for many years. The company has built many large construction projects including two of Ireland’s major sporting stadia, namely Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium.
