Course Aims

This course meets the needs of learners who wish to develop a portfolio of valuable skills, for example: Architectural Drawing, CAD 2D and 3D, Architectural Model Making and Design. These skills will equip learners to find employment in the architectural, engineering and design sectors and/or also progress to third level colleges. Learners achieve a level of competence and confidence in their skills in order to maximise their abilities and potential for the future.

• Applications are welcome from learners with relevant working CAD experience

Additional Information

A Visual Design Exhibition of learner’s work from these courses is held annually in DFEi in May, providing an opportunity for learners to showcase the skills and knowledge they have acquired.

Graduates are eligible to apply through the CAO and/or the Higher Education Links Scheme for entry to a range of higher certificate and degree programmes, at both, Universities and Institutes of Technology.
